나는 매킨토시 유저다. 2.4GHz 20인치에 램4기가짜리 뉴아이맥을 사용하고 있다. 맥을 구입한 이후로 여러 매킨토시 사이트를 들락날락거리면서 이것저것 정보를 구하는 과정에서 맥빠라는 단어와 맥까라는 단어를 알게 됐다. 그야말로 맥이라면 쌍수를 들고 환영하는 사람들이 있는가하면, 맥이라면 무조건 깎아내리질 못해서 안달이 난 사람들도 있다. 물론 이런 점에선 모든 화젯거리는 팬, 안티팬으로 나뉘긴 한다. 솔직히 나는 댓글다는 걸 별로 좋아하질 않는다. 시간도 없을 뿐더러 (사실, 시간이 없다는 말은 핑계라고들 한다) 댓글다는 일에 시간을 보내고 싶진않다. 그렇지만, 내가 좋아하고 내가 쓰고있고 내가 옳다고 믿는 것을 누가 비방하면 댓글을 달고싶어진다. 나는 루미네스 광이다. 잘하지는 못하지만 그래도 한 번 잡으면 2시간이다. 현재 내 최고기록은 82만점인데, 99만이 목표다. 언제 한 번 유튜브에서 타임어택 60초에 214갠가 하는 걸 봤는데, 그거 보고나서 나도 해보니깐 50개도 안나오더라. ㅋㅋ 그래도 82만점에 만족하련다. 이 정도만 해도 결코 쉬운 점수는 아니니깐.

11월 2일 07년, 하와이대학교 북스토어 컴퓨터 디팔멘, 뎅장, University of Hawaii Bookstore Computer department에 가서 아이맥을 샀다. 원래 아이맥 기존 가격보다 300불이나 싸게 샀다(무슨 이벤트로) 사실, 이게 울 와이프가 아이맥을 사주게 한 원인이기도 했다. 첫날, 아이맥의 전원이 나가버렸다. 순간 당황했다. 나름 컴퓨터에 대해서 좀 안다고 생각하는 나이기에, 컴퓨터의 전원이 갑자기 나간다는 건 보드에 이상이 있다는 신호. 하지만, 지금 살고있는 스튜디오 건물 자체의 전원공급에 문제가 있다고 판단되기 때문에, (에어컨 틀면 전기 나가는 건 다반사) 일단 다시 전원을 켰다. 3주일이 지나도록 이상이 없었다. 요 며칠 전, iWork ’08의 Pages로 작업 중 전원이 […]
